Quietly surprised, staff were friendly and helpful. Our 3 bedroom apartment was great.
Stayed in the North tower, had an ocean view. Had previoulsy read reviews that weren't flattering.
Only issue is wi fi reception is poor, was unable to connect in room, lobby has best reception.
Great accommodation, two bedroom serviced apartment overlooking the pool and ocean, resort has an awesome pool and is only a two minute walk to the beach, right near the airport but minimal noise, onsite cafe and restaurant decent quality and value, great family getaway.
Second time at this hotel and love it.This time we faced the main road (and runway) but it wasn't noisy at all. Sunset was beautiful from this room. the balcony was spacious.I was sick when I arrived but staff were very helpful when my husband had to ring an ambulance.2 days later I needed a medical centre and again the girl on duty ( think it was Stacey) phoned around to get me an appointment with one. Love the pool and its so close to beach.Meals are beautiful. Generous helpings. Love the shuttle bus to Marcoola surf club. Will visit again.
We stayed two nights in a very modern and awesome sized 3 bedder. The rooftop was being renovated so we couldn't use. Kids loved the place loads of room

Currently staying at the Ramada in Marcoola Beach as a base for getting around. 2 people. Myself and my 10 year old son.
The hotel is clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and clean. There are tea making facilities and a mini fridge. Our room also has access to a full laundry. The bed is comfortable. The tv is modern. There is also a DVD player. You can hire DVDs from reception for the length of your stay. Costs $5 for 2 or $10 for 5.
The pool area is extremely safe. You need your key pass to access the pool safety gates. The water is clean and warm and there's plenty of seating around the pool. There is also direct access to the beach from the pool area.
There is allocated under ground parking with elevators to your floor.
My only tiny complaint would be that the doona isn't enclosed in a doona cover. It's placed between 2 sheets. If you move about at night the sheets move and you have doona directly on you. Yuk.
But overall I give this hotel 5 stars for location, cleanliness, amenities and friendly staff and price.
