Good quality and variety.
To finish off after dessert, treat yourself to a Grappagnac! Enjoyable but pricey.

I recently had a German guest, let's say an important client. For the first time in 30 years, I decided to risk and go to a restaurant which had just been recommended by a colleague. Usually, I first go myself, before inviting anyone. I was very pleasantly surprised. Tucked away just in the vicinity of the Duomo, I discovered a nice place well worth visiting. The food was excellent, the service punctual, the wine was very good and the price on the high side but acceptable for a good dinner. Reserve in advance.

This is an high level restaurant, located in the nice historical center of Crema. The appearance and atmosphere of the restaurant are very nice, characteristic, and comfortable. The menu is very, very interesting with some sophisticated dishes, as well as original and stimulating combinations of recipes. Overall, the quality of food is very high and the dishes very good, even if some of the proposals are too particular. Desserts are top level. The service level is very high. Overall, the value for money is also very high. Definitely a good choice.

Went there with my family, strongly recommended by a dear friend. The venue looks nice, despite the cheap paintings on the walls. It promised really well. However, we got increasingly disappointed by the service. Two waiters for the whole restaurant, one of whom devoted specifically to the explanation of the menu and orders taking. His manners looked forced and annoyed, as he explained us the various dishes in the menu with a pretentious tone of voice. It made us immediately feel really uncomfortable and unwelcome. The service overall was incredibly slow. One guy was just serving the dishes, water and bread, while the other was serving the dishes and explaining the menu with incredible pomp - 45 minutes in, our starters arrived. Our expectations got knocked lower by the overall quality of the food. The ham was good, but the "hot" starters were barely warm outside and cold inside, as if they had just been defrost in a microwave oven. 1h 30 mins and 4 bread baskets and 3 bottles of water in, no sight of our mains, we grew nervous and annoyed as we filled ourselves up on bread. Approx 2h in, the mains finally arrive - as we asked for the check, willing to go back home. The quality of our dishes was disappointingly poor. Our check was never brought to us, so that we decided to pay at the till on our way out. Crema and the surrounding towns have plenty of good and high-end, but affordable restaurants. Clearly this one is not of them, although it incredibly pretends to.

Caro cliente,
FERANI MARCO
