This is on my list of places I definitely want to come back to. I had a room with a balcony and a fabulous view over Lake Thun. The hotel is blissfully peaceful, the staff are friendly and the half board is well worth it as the food is great excellent and reasonably priced. I loved it so much that I didn’t want to leave.
The place of my dreams! Fully surrounded by the nature with a astonishing view on the lake! Great enchanting place, cleaned, well kept with sweet and caring personal. It ideal for a romantic stay, but also for families with children because the space and a lot of green.
Many people like to visit interlaken but I found Tomas the owner of Meielisalp Hotel in Leissigen is most important sign in this Area and I recommended this family hotel with friendly teamwork made my visit to Switzerland is amazing
I haven't stayed here for 17 years and I wanted my 2 sisters to have an excellent first impression of Switzerland, they had never visited before. The Meielisalp was just the spot for our 3 days before meeting our tour group. Besides having just the right accommodations we ate all our evening meals here as well. We haed excellent breakfasts and had great conversations with the chef and wait staff. I can't wait to visit again!
Three star hotel??? Seriously??? They deserve additional two stars for: the service, family atmosphere, quality of the food, view to the Thun lake and so much more....
Warning: if you go there, you will not want to leave... So think twice before you book ;-)
