We just came back from a one week stay here. It was our first family ski holiday since more than 10 years and our first time skiing in Japan. We had an absolutely amazing time skiing, we loved the resort and village. The appartment was perfect for us with all the modern mod cons. Jason the owner was extremely helpful and very fast to respond to any queries and info requests right from the start when I was getting a quote and enquiring about the flat up to the last minute. The appartment is very typical Japanese . One of the bathrooms has a shower, toilet and sink. The other one is just a shower room. Apart from breakfast which we tended to have in, we would eat at the slope restos for lunch and go out in the evening into town, there are plenty of choices of restaurants and Izakayas and it's all super close walking distance to the flat. All the Japanese food we tried was amazing! Still dreaming of the ramens and noodle dishes and gyozas! There are a couple of small supermarkets in the village too for snacks and necessities. There is a little 10 min walk from the flat to the tunnel carpet taking you up to the Hikage slopes/ski school. We would leave our skis and boots etc at the Hikage ski rental shop so this was very convenient. Thank you so much for everything ! We hope we can come again!!
