St Louans was just beautiful and everything was exactly as described. Olivia met us upon our arrival and showed us around. The rooms were spotless and there was even homemade shortbread upon our arrival. We just loved returning there every evening and would highly recommend this home. We were a family of 6 travelling with 2 adult daughters and their husbands from Canada and St Louans was a very important part of our trip! Thank you so much Olivia We hope to return some day.

Liked best: The ensuite with each bedroom!
Liked least: Hard to pick anything but if you had disabilities not being able to in front of the house might be an issue.

We had a wonderful stay at St Louans. The rooms were all very well presented and clean. The cottage was really comfortable and homely, everyone settled in right away (we have three children). From the bag of logs, to the container of biscuits, the house had such a welcoming feel. The kitchen was very well equipped and lots of information about local attractions and amenities was provided. The house was ideally placed to travel up to the mountains and glens. We also went to Aberfeldy and Aberdeen which were both about an hour away. The Den of Alyth was magical and everyone, from the cottage owners to the people in the local shop, was so friendly. I would definitely recommend the cottage.

I came with two friends to Alyth for an annual antiquing visit, using the Perthshire Open Studios week as an additional incentive. We wanted 3 bedrooms and enough communal space and St Louan's offered all of that and much much more. Very well appointed; full of beautiful paintings and objects but not in an overwhelming way; very good bathrooms en suite; comfortable new beds - it is the perfect rental property. Pretty outlook on a small communal green. Shops within a few meters for everyday shopping - including a really fine butcher... We could not have wanted anything better. Even though we be had three days of sun, a fire in the evening helped keep the chill at bay. The owners, sisters called Clare and Olivia, run another one bedroom cottage opposite - Camlan - which looks perfect too. We'll come back!

Absolutely beautiful cottage. Has everything that you need, well maintained, 3 bedrooms all en suite, kitchen fitted and kitted out. Very quiet location with local shops literally around the corner. Perth and Dundee both around 20 minutes drive away. Plenty to see and do and scenery is magnificent. Definitely recommend and will return.

St. Louan's had everything that we needed in a self-catering property in Perthshire. The cottage is extremely well equipped, and very comfortable. The three excellent showers were perfect for a group who were walking the hills. Nothing had been overlooked, and we loved our stay.
