Spacious rooms by Japan's standard with cozy and clean beds. Love the Christmas theme that the hotel is set in. Food line up in the "October-fest" restaurant was great. But the lights decorations around the hotel really were the highlight

I am here with two kids, aged 8 and 11. I think it has all the essentials for kids: ski school, indoor pool with a slide and man-made waves, game centre, etc. But the hotel staff is not very helpful or flexible. The resort is huge but it definitely needs much more directional signs as we got lost first day trying to find a breakfast place. We came at a low season so lots of F&B outlets are closed. Without directions and staff pointing us to the way, it is like impossible to find the few outlets that are opened for breakfast! We nearly needed to buy cup noodles to fulfil the breakfast needs as our search for the cafe took us almost till past the allowed breakfast hours!

Should come at different times of the year to fully enjoy the resort :)

Good access to ski from hotel. We can borrow a large locker space for changing to ski wear (2nd Floor) and go to ski area directly. You could be better to purchase ski ticket before put on boots at Ticket office (Ground Floor). Please be careful for a slippy on the floor during ski season.
We stayed at North wing, room is not big but no complain for skiing.
There are some diffrent type of restaurant there. Dinner is not to bad but a little expensive for us, we can enjoyed breakfast including local food. We love pork sandwich at Edelweiss and pork curry at ski area. We sometimes bought wines /Japanese saki and snacks at local convenient store is located close to hotel. It is just across the road from the entrance of hotel.
After skiing, we also enjoyed Onsen (hot spring) in South wing but it is far from North wing we stayed.
And surprisingly we can ride small train between this resort hotel and Westin hotel for shopping and/or restaurant in Westin Hotel. It is interesting.

Room tip: There are more reasonable room such as travel lodge.

Everything is great and we love it here. The only downside is the many restaurants within the resort close before 7pm and if you stay a few nights you crave room service (which they don't have) or some take away food so you're not always at the buffet .... great place though, snowboarding is 100%

If you want to snow ski in/ski out, then this resort is the one for you. All grades of slopes are top class, breakfasts are amazing and well catered for, can swap voucher for lunch if required. All price tags of food, from Yen 500 to Yen 5690. Depends on your budget. Lifts well run, Japanese staff are incredibly helpful.
Shuttle/taxi from Chitose airport - well run service. 1.5 hours one way. Used ski Japan company for bookings. All highly recommended.

Room tip: The air con in rooms do not work properly so the air is very dry and hot. There is a humidifier available. Just ask.
