I hadn't expected to be so close to the penguins, but they were easily within touching distance (though, of course, we were asked not to try to touch them, but not to worry if any of them touched us). Our guide was very informative; a bit bossy about exactly where she wanted people to stand/walk, but as it was to avoid disturbing or upsetting the penguins, this was understandable. We saw both baby and adult penguins. The penguins didn't seem at all bothered by the lights used by the guides and we could take photos (without flash). Wrap up warmly and wear shoes suitable for rough ground and going down onto the beach.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our Guide,Kyle, was so entertaining and full of facts about the penguins, and their surroundings, It was great to be so close to the penguins in their natural habitat.
Well done to all involved. Value for money, and one of the highlights of our trip to Tasmania.

This was the best penguin tour that I have been on ever. I have been on tours in New Zealand as well. The guides, information and being able to view penguins up close was an incredible experience

Enjoyed the amazing tour, staff was very professional and told a lot of interesting information and welcomed every question, group was split up in smaller groups to really enjoy every aspect of the penguins coming on land without the penguin getting anxious.

Seen baby penguins and adult penguins and were able to make very nice pictures with camera, only one pic with phone
