Lovely clean room... Gorgeous place to stay... Non-intrusive hosts and they cook a mean breakfast... Wish we could have stayed longer xXx
Can't remember the month we stayed!!!

“Fantastic accommodation for large groups”
Reviewed 3 June 2015 for a stay in May 2015

A group of 12 of us stayed at Hill House Farm from the 22- 24 May 2015 and we had a fantastic weekend. The farm house was exactly as the pictures showed, full of character and in a beautiful, peaceful setting. The house was clean and tidy, with comfy beds and plenty of space for us all. A fantastic 'sun room' added onto the kitchen meant there was a large, sociable space for eating, this also led onto the garden which we thoroughly enjoyed. We were greeted by Rachel who gave us a tray of freshly laid eggs and were told we could explore the farm within certain areas. We were lucky enough to see one of the pigs give birth to 10 piglets! We would all recommend Hill House Farm to any large groups who want peace and quiet in the beautiful countryside yet within reach of central Bath, it was only 20 minutes in a taxi into Bath.

“Excellent - just the job for a group get-away”

Thoroughly enjoyed our get-away here last weekend. The large conservatory off the kitchen meant for a great atmosphere with the breakfast fry-up around the table. Loved the freedom to walk around the farm, and the short walk into Box to the pub on Friday evening was very pleasant.

The notes supplied on check-in were very helpful, and we were given a phone number in case of any problems, other than this we were left to our own devices to enjoy our weekend. It was exactly what we had in mind, in a beautiful setting of the Wiltshire countryside. The only thing perhaps to bear in mind is that access to a couple of the top bunks is fairly tight, and if you are planning on filling the room allocation then this is a consideration. For us not a problem as there there were plenty of beds for the 9 of us to take our pick.

Really nice to support an excellent charity, as well as enjoying our getaway. The location is great, and we had a couple of excursions planned within a 30 minute journey. The town of Chippenham has a large Morrisons for supplies, and also a good train service to London. There is also a postoffice literally at the end of the drive, and a co-op in the village for any emergency supplies.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, we had read the brief and spoken to Wendy in advance of our booking, in light of this everything was exactly what we had hoped for, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful to facilitate our requests.
