Excellent hotel, friendly and helpful staff. The only thing that needs mentioning is that if someone makes noise in the corridor or in the neighbouring room, it can be well heard in the room, and that creates discomfort, especially early in the morning.

We stayed here during the slow food cheese festival. It is an unforgettable experience in a beautiful building in amazing surroundings. It is a little way out of Bra if you do not have a car (we didn’t) but the site itself has so much history that it ois a must visit on its own.
In other buildings of this converted palace are the University of Gastronomy and the Wine Bank - both must sees. There is a good swimming pool but we had not the time to sample it.
We had a superior class room on the first floor which was spacious, well appointed and comfortable. There was plenty of wardrobe space though twice as many coat hangers wouldWiFi was good and reliable.
So why only a four star review? The answer is breakfast which while reasonable does not match the standards of the rest of the hotel. Perhaps four and a half if Trip Advisor allowed it but because of the breakfast it does not attain the perfection to deserve five stars.

My wife and I stayed 2 days at the Albergo dell'Agenzia, and really enjoyed the beautiful environment and surroundings. The place is more like a castle than a hotel, and the pool area and facilities seemed to be renovated only recently, as evry thing was in perfect order. The rooms are big and spacious, and well maintained and cleand, with much of the ancient building athmosphere still intact. The mattresses are hard after our standard, but the staff helped us with some extra blankets to soften them a bit. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent room service. Definately a place to return to.

it was a lovely stay, the pool and gardens are beautiful, room plenty of space the restaurant good but only a few options, i asked why they have just 3 options only per course? the breakfast was poor and limited, they did not wanted to replace the things, same criteria ... just a few items.. no variety at all !
why???? PLEASE IMPROVE! the hotel and place is extremely quiet and peaceful.. good for families.. the area? nothing to do.. just visit Torino.. (Turin)

Pollenzo is a village with a lot a history (in the Pollenzo Hub it's possible to discover all the history), situated a few kilometers from Alba and Bra, between the Langhe and Roero hills. It is a UNESCO world heritage site.
With a 15 minutes trip by car it is possible to reach every village and town in the nearby, with breathtaking views of landscape, such as La Morra, Barolo, Barbaresco and many more.

We stayed here 2 nights to discover this wonderful region.
The experience started with a happy smiling receptionist who welcomed us on arrival. He told us of the inside car park with access directly to the room landings and explained the facilities.
The room is oldie worldie with a wooden ceiling, wonderful drapes and comfortable bed. Marble bathroom with a full length bath with Argan-based toiletries. We visited the spa on the first night and slept like babies in the quiet surroundings.
Breakfast is a relatively low choice (compared to other such hotels) but very high quality, hot and cold foods -
The village is small but picturesque and provides a nice evening walk ...and lots of books and newspapers to read in quiet corners in the hotel made this a very relaxing break.
We thoroughly recommend Albergo dell’Agenzia. Was great. Thank you to all the staff who made it such a pleasant stay.
