welcomed by friendly staff this former youth hostel is full of surprises ... characteristic wood cottage turned into design boutique hotel. All rooms are decorated differently and tastefully. We stayed in room 21, the "Dutch Suite" with a mix of delft blue and jeans (!), loved the big modern bath tub.
Excellent restaurant, surprise menu with matching wine arrangement presented by knowlegable waiter.

As a frequent traveller I’ve experienced many hotels, both large and small. Many have been good, others great but none matched the Huize Koningsbosch.
We were placed there by a client of ours by pure chance. The hotel, nestled at the edge of a large forest out of the beaten path is simply beautiful, fitting perfectly into the scenery.
With 16 rooms, the hotel is able to provide a personable service, and the staff did not fail. The service was purely outstanding, attentive and can not be faulted.
The rooms are simply beautiful with a differentiating decor and room names. The beds were outstanding and I can safely say that I’ve not had such a good sleep in a very long time. The decor in the room is very nice, the bathroom and the shower are amazing and you even have your own terrace.
The restaurant is sublime. we enjoyed a chateaubriand steak, served between two at a reasonable 32,50 per person. Service again was outstanding, and the steak... is the best I’ve ever had.
The hotel seemed to mostly have locals staying there so it was a novelty to have foreigners in the area, but all in all 10/10 stars and I will definitely be coming there as often as possible, if not for the great night rest, then the steak.

I stayed at this hotel for one night on a work trip. My room (room 18) was very comfortable and clean. Super comfy bed, pillows and a great shower. I slept really well here. Lovely hotel in lovely setting. Great coffee for breakfast.

Koningsbosch used to be a youth hostel and as such well known to us as we used to live in the area. Today it is a very nice hotel set in a very nice wooded area with great access to the national park, the seaside and the neighbouring country side. Bikes can be rented here as well. We stayed one night with family for a nostalgic bike ride in the area. The hotel looks very nice with great comfortable rooms and a great restaurant. We had dinner here and were very pleased with the quality of the food and the service. The staff at the hotel was very nice and helpful. Certainly a place to remember and to go back to again. We will!
Very nice interior of the restaurant and lounge. Moreover attractive seats in the garden. Good quality of food. Extensive choice of meals. Friendly service. It is great to spend your time here having a bite and a drink. We and our friends had a pleasant stay .
