In this nice building there is one special room: the chauffeur's room. The Owner left this room from when the venue acted as a hostil. 2 meters wide, 5 long.
In this case: enough IS enough. Especially when you just sleep and sleep alone.
Be aware: you sleep right over the airconditioning units of the venue party hall. So: check first.
Nice hotel, on a busy road ( nice hotel pictures, but on the front is a road which was quit busy, not shown on pictures). Nice room, lots of space. Staf is friendly (but not as experienced as I would expect). We had room 23, next time I would prefere an other room, because the staf was outside talking and made it difficult to fall a sleep.
Conclusion for me it's nice hotel but the website gives an impression it's a bit more exclusive.
We booked two nights with our dog (special room). The WiFi works perfect and fast! This hotel was new, while it before a hostel. The change is perfect done: with eyes for details we discovered all kinds of aspect with were so nicely done: go and discover it yourself!
Direct out of our room we walked into the dunes! So nice.
The owners showd us proudly the whole hotel: we felt very welcome!
Situated in a beautiful part of North Holland this hotel proved the perfect location for an offsite meeting. The hotel had everything needed for a comfortable stay and all rooms had interesting themes. The hotel is located in the countryside and not far from the beach and is ideal for walks, cycling and relaxing.
We had the most wonderful and relaxing stay in this small hotel in the middle of the woods in Castricum, a 10- minute cycle ride to the glorious Dutch beaches and very near an old village with old fashioned shops and tearooms with friendly local people. The hotel was beautifully decorated with a different theme for every room, modern, clean bathrooms and helpful staff and owners. We enjoyed the relaxed ambiance and had breakfast every morning and dinner on Christmas evening, everything was succulent and prepared with great care. We took the car to Amsterdam, but hired the bikes from the hotel for all the local attractions. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who looks for a relaxing break. Summer must be even better in this beautiful location ..........
