We got the disabled room, with a huge place to shower and a bit unpractical low wash stand. The automatic light was a real search to turn off, as well as to find out the heating mode of the A/C in the cold room. Berths were marvelous with stable matresses.Great breakfast service, despite the early morning construction work.Will come again.
Stayed another night at Babylon this month. Experience was less good. Needed to wait a long time at the reception before we got our key. Same in the restaurant .. it is hard to catch a waiter. The breakfast voucher system is too complex. Just print a list of guest that ordered breakfast.
Very good room and a great Restaurant. The dinner was very good, excellent food and service. Excellent breakfast with a good selection of food. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Would stay again if in the area.
This is an old 2 story, outside door motor Innl BUT the rooms have been remodeled with modern decor and nice bathroom fixtures. Now, here is an issue with the bathroom design; 2 sinks, a walk-in shower and a toilet all behind one door with no doors to separate areas within the bathroom, so really only one person at a time in this large bathroom. OK, the room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. This was a value stay at less then $90 for a night.
We had booked a room for one night on June 17th. We arrived @ around 21:30. While we checked in, we realized that there was a wedding going on, on the 1st floor in the resaurant. Due to the good weather also on the patio outside = very loud music :-(
We inspected the room, but it was clear, that we might not find some sleep.
We spoke to Rick, the manager, who was very sorry and but tried to find a solution for us. So he called some of his friends to find a room for us. Even though almost everything affordable was booked, he managed to get a room for us at one of his friends in Bergen,. It actually was the most spacious and expensive suite but we where were charged the same price as in the Babylon.

What we saw at the Babylon so far was very promising. The restaurant looked fine and the room was fine too.
