“Amazing as always”
Reviewed 23 April 2015 for a stay in June 2014

Great, spacious, everything you need is right there for you. This is the second time we have stayed and will be back again sometime soon. Love the views from the kitchen and the roof top garden.

we were welcomed by a comprehensive selection of essentials one of which was a bottle of Cava! Being my birthday this seemed very appropriate. The cottage was spotlessly clean and warm on arrival. All needs seemed to have been anticipated with an extremely well equipped kitchen with a state of the art 'hob'. The bed was very comfortable and ample in size. Sandend is a lovely village, with its typical fishermans cottages and beautiful beach, a great asset for our dog. Excellent walking from the cottage and being a runner I thoroughly enjoyed the Portsoy circuit. The waves were 'up' and next time we'll bring the longboard and by then will need another bottle of the Glenglassaugh Evolution!

“What a gem”
Reviewed 27 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Had a wonderful week at this cottage. Everything you could possibly need is there in abundance, pots, equipment, dishes. Lovely to have extra towels/toilet rolls/tea towels/dishwasher tablets etc there if needed. There were also sundries in the store cupboard, sauces, flour etc. We did not use any of the extras but it was nice to know they were there. The heating and the lovely gas fire in the lounge keeps the whole house lovely warm and welcoming.

The cottage is in a wonderful situation, the views are fantastic, you could stand at the window all day and just watch the ever changing sea.

Congratulations to Wendy and Colin for all the thoughtful touches, the vase of flowers, the welcome pack and making their guests feel so much at home

“Perfect cottage in an amazing situation!”
Reviewed 21 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

We stayed in this lovely cottage 7th-14th June. It was perfect for our two dogs and us as the garden was fenced in, the beach was a stone's throw away and there were lots of good walks in the area. We have never stayed in a cottage with such an amazing view - the waves rolling in and a beautiful sandy beach - just brilliant! We felt very welcome and Wendy had thought of everything holidaymakers might need. The cottage is very clean and attractive and we had a very enjoyable week!

“Fab-u-lous!”
Reviewed 29 May 2014 for a stay in April 2014

We had a family holiday in the Easter hols and as frequent holiday cottage users I can happily say it was the best! We had friends over who live nearby in Whitehills who were also super impressed and going to recommend to their own friends. The beach was amazing and the welcome pack of food and drink was lovely plus a beautiful, clean warm home. The owners seem just lovely and so helpful, it felt like we were staying at a friends place. We would love to go back!
