Beautiful, clean, well laid out, roomy cottage and the garage has been converted to a high spec hot tub area and appears to be brand new, great for the kids and adults alike.
The owners were very helpful living very close but left us alone and when we did have a problem with the wifi not working, they did everything trying to sort it out as quickly as possible.
There is a petrol station, well stocked village shop away and opposite that the pub serving very good food (except on Sunday evenings and Mondays) all within 2 minutes walk.
Ideal for the Forest of Dean, not to be missed, Symonds Yat East and Mallards Pike Lake. Ross is a small town but has most of the things you could possibly need. Hereford is a great city and has an excellent leisure centre. The Welsh border and beautiful Brecon Beacons are easy drive, if you like real ale, Rhymney brewery is worth a look as is the old iron works village, (head for the 'Big Pit' brown signs).
Great family holiday in a semi-rural setting
