Superlatives abound when describing our stay at Itrabo Hills. From the very first moment as we wound our way up the hills to Itrabo and catching glimpse of the village nestled in the hills, both Sirah and I realised it was going to be something special.

Peter came out to greet us and led us to his lovely home and you can see that both he and Debbie have paid the utmost attention to creating a little of the Andalucia of old in their home with furnishings and fittings brought across the straits from Morocco.

On the very first night we were treated to Peter's cullinary skills which far surpassed that of anything we ate during the remainder of our one week stay in the region. I can heartily recommend the Gazpacho and the Dorado fillet. Peter had also kindly managed to source some halal meat for us, which was a great suprise as I had become accustomed to not eating meat when staying in hotels in Europe.

Peter was also a great help in directing us to local walks in the region and the Junta del los rios was breathtakingly beautiful and an ideal walk for an August day in the Spanish sun, with clear pools to dip into and being rewarded witha twenty metre waterfall at the end.

Itrabo is well located with it being only a fifteen minute drive to the coast and a fifty minute drive into historic Granada, allowing us to have a varied and interesting holiday experience.
We both hope to go back soon perhaps when the weather is a little cooler.

“Enjoyed our stay”
Reviewed 31 July 2008 for a stay in July 2008

My husband and I had a wonderful time during our stay at Itrabo Hills. We spent 21 days in Spain and our 2 days here were the best. The owners were warm and helpful, the room was very well decorated and had all the amenities of home. It is a great location to really see rural Spain while still having some of the comforts of home. I would recommend this location to anyone.

“a cozy retreat”
Reviewed 31 July 2008 for a stay in July 2008

My boyfriend and I arrived at Itrabo Hills after a very long and arduous journey from Morocco. Our host welcomed us warmly, and was more than eager to help us around his corner of Spain. After our return to Morocco, we both agreed that we should have stayed longer at this quaint B&B. Many thanks Peter, and we wish you all the best in Spain ;o)

“Amazing B & B”
Reviewed 12 June 2008 for a stay in June 2008

We just stayed a week at Itrabo Hills. It is a beautiful Bed and Breakfast tucked away in the little town of Itrabo. Upon arrival we were greeted by our ever so gracious hosts. They made us feel very welcome in their home. The Breakfast was excellent, delicous and healthy. It got us ready for the adventures of Andalucia. The coast is very close and a lot of amazing things to see and do. Great resturaunts and historic sites. The people and culture of the area was great. Debbie and Pete kept the B & B spotless and they served us there optional amazing dinners. I would recommend them to anyone. Outstanding.
