“Here is it! That's a good weekend getaway! ”
Reviewed 22 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

It's very warm, tidy, cleaning and great decorative. I feel like at 4 star hotel . House owner invite me fresh strawberries, eggplant, tomato that they grow up in their garden.
Last but not less, they are very friendly and keep open house.

“A perfect place.”

Wonderful place to stay. High standard of cleanliness. High quality linen, cutlery etc. Dvd's, games, books for adults and children. Everything one could think of is provided. We arrived to some delicious home baked muffins and garden produce. The hosts Christine and Alan were very welcoming and even gave us some cuttings from their wonderful garden. Balrose Cottage is central to everything but at the same time is peaceful and quiet. It was magic to sit on the verandah admiring the beautiful garden and listen to the birds. The one regret we do have is that our five nights were not long enough.. We would certainly recommend Balrose Cottage to anyone for either a short or long stay. Maureen & Michael

“Perfect Cottage Getaway”
Reviewed 27 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

The cottage is a great place to stay as a centre to explore the Mornington Peninsular. The location is perfect and is close to the local beach, shops and restaurants. Neat and tidy and in a quiet location with beautiful gardens, the cottage is the perfect getaway. Our hosts Christine and Alan were very attentive and helpful, with Christine supplying muffins on our arrival and pikelets a couple of days later – both delicious. We enjoyed having breakfast on the veranda overlooking the cottage garden. The cottage has everything needed for an enjoyable stay, including very comfortable beds and reclining furniture in the lounge, we didn’t want to leave.
Would recommend Balrose Cottage for anyone looking for comfortable well equipped accommodation

“It had verything we needed”
Reviewed 26 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We wanted a good break away from busyness in a pleasant area. We can say that it is the best holiday accommodation we have stayed in over many years. It was very clean, fully equipped, quiet and with a comfortable bed. Everything worked. The hosts were very friendly and so we strongly recommend 'Balrose'.
The Mornington Peninsula is full of interesting places to visit and a pleasant countryside to drive through.

Four of us (Adults) stayed for two nights. The cottage had everything we required for the stay. TV, DVDs, cooking/ baking and bathroom equipment, comfortable beds and clean fresh linens. The garden is amazing. We really could not fault anything. The cottage is close to the beach and some shops including IGA. Very convenient. I would recommend this place and would definitely stay there again when we visit Mornington Peninsula!
