“Nice place to walk around but that's it”

My friend and I walked around this street as we had arrived early for our MariCar tour. It was nice to explore and look around nearby but when in Tokyo, there are definitely much better places to see. I'd recommend this to anyone already in the area but this isn't something that people would go our of their way for.

Old area, part of the famous 'tokaido' road. Great to wonder through to see a very local area with local restaurants including yakitori, sushi and other Japanese food, as well as Italian, Indian etc.
The atmosphere gets even more exciting when the local Shrine has a festival.

This small shopping street is quite close to Shinagawa station and at the back of the railway line that goes to Yokohama. It is very typical of small shopping streets in Tokyo and probably one of the lesser interesting ones.

A nice, quaint street with a nice traditional Japanese feel. We found a nice patisserie (Kyo-An) that had the best Mille Feuille that we ever had. This street is a nice place to stroll if you are staying in the Shinagawa area.
