Great neighborhood vibe away from congestion of big city. Convenient van to train station.
We had room with a separate sitting area, large, 2 TV’s. Choose room overlooking the park. Having a free iPhone was a brilliant touch—used it for making free international calls, finding local restaurants, google maps for use when lost. The decor is tranquil and lovely.

Stayed as a family of 4 - 2 children under 6 - in one room. Big double bed and sofa bed. Surprised by the size of the room and bathroom after all the talk about how small hotel rooms are in Japan.
Tucked away and not really near anything, but 10 minute walk to nearest metro station. Also a shuttle bus every 30 minutes to Takadanobaba Station which was well connected.
Didn’t eat breakfast there, but room service was nice if a little slow.
Very comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

The rooms are large and clean, but this is not a tourist hotel. The staff tries very hard to be helpful, but their English is not great. It also is not anywhere near any part of the Shinjuku district that you expect. I spent a fortune on cabs. There is nowhere really to eat within walking distance. And the pool has a surcharge. The restaurants inside the hotel are WAY overpriced. Would not stay here again.

Room Tip: Garden view rooms are nice.

Stayed 5nights on business. Breakfasts were exactly the same for whole duration of my stay. It’s sad selections of buffets and not a single dish were changed for whole week.
Hotel is relatively cheap due to inconvenient location but service is just awful.
- 20min walk to nearby station but shuttle bus does not run often, nor have taxi available.
- Very bright lounge is mostly closed and have a pleasure of having breakfast looking at parked cars, or beers in the evening in windowless bar instead of lounge with nicely lit garden.
- Only one checkout counter with long queue.

Firstly this hotel is not in the centre of Shinjuku which we found to be a good thing. Its in a quiet neighbouring area that gives you a better glimpse of non touristy Tokyo and with the shuttle bus and train you can be in the hustle and bustle with 10 minutes. The hotel has older styling but the rooms are large and we had a great view over the park behind and slept with the curtains open to enjoy the view. We also had a complimentary smart phone with our room that we could take with us everyday that had unlimited data (which was good as our roaming wasn't working) and free phone calls. We didn't eat at the hotel but there are so many options at Takadanobaba where the shuttle bus drops you off.
