From our (my and my family) perspective this comfortable old spanish village house has only good points to mention. This house is part of bigger group of buildings (two other houses are also available for rent in the location) but it is separated from other buildings by external walls giving peace and privacy. The property is situated only 300 m from the road leading from Granada to Cordoba but it is build at the top of small hill surrounded by many trees giving silence, privacy and climate by the occasion.
There is small but private swimming pool on the private backyard. On the same backyard there is also shaded place with table and chairs - so there is place to get the suntan and place to rest after sunbathing.
The house is very comfortable. It has all neccesary equipment in good condition. The only funny thing is the low pressure of water in the shower - it requires some patience ;)
There is nothing especially interesting nearby - small village (Ermita Nueva) and endless fields and olives groves. But only not longer than 30 minutes of driving you may find wide variety of andalusian villages. 5 km North there is bigger city - Alcala la Real with impressive fortress Fortaleza de la Mota (worth visiting). There is also selection of quite nice restaurants nearby (require driving by car).
During last stay I've decided to practice jogging and I've managed to trace very nice 5 km route around nearby small mountain so if you like jogging or mountain biking you won't be dissapointed (I know there is option to rent a bikes from the owners).
Owners of the house are very, very friendly and helpful. Their kindness turned our stay into extraordinary time spended in Andalusia - that's why we've visited this place 2 times so far and I'm sure there are few more to come.
