The promenade alongside Playa de La Garita has lots to see. Of course, here you get to see more volcanic rock, but it is the crashing sounds of the water against the rock that is the most spectacular sound. Past the beach, the walkway has views out to the ocean especially at Mirador Sebastian Quintana Velez, the viewpoint that also has benches. There are houses on the La Garita hill and the most unique house built on the rocks. Yes, someone lives there. Further along is El Bufadero, an unique water vortex phenomenon found next to the El Hombre Beach.
