Owners Raul and Esmeralda were excellent hosts. It is incredibly difficult to open your home to strangers and to let them share in your house. We stayed with them one month which can be a long time to share a space with someone. We were welcome to use the washer/dryer and we had a cabinet to store food and even two shelves in the refrigerator to keep food stuff.
This is a most positive review for a great place to stay while in Alicante.
We did not have a car so we did not have to worry about parking one which can be a problem on this street so be advised about this. Grocery and buses were so close it wasn't necessary to have a car however. The local farmers market was also within walking distance of the house and it is held twice a week.
There are no neighbors but there is a car service business below you which is closed at night. The Wi-Fi worked great throughout the house and there was a coffee pot available for our private use.
The house is kept spotless and we were incredibly comfortable in watching TV with our hosts when they had it on.
The unit is located up a couple of flights of stairs so it is not accessible for handicapped individuals.
Raul and Esmeralda speak English (and like to practice speaking it) as well as several other languages. When they went to the larger grocery store they asked if we wanted to tag along which we appreciated greatly.
This was definitely a great choice for us to begin our stay in Spain.
