We were wandering round Alicante looking for somewhere to have a last drink when we chanced upon this place. It was late, 1am ish, and as we'd had a very late lunch weren't looking to have anything to eat but were tempted by the cheese board as we picked a bottle of wine rather than a glass. We loved the ambience and although it was obviuosly close to closing time we were made to feel very welcome and while my Spanish isn't fluent we managed to get by, the waiter couldn't have been more helpful and ensured we didn't feel rushed to leave. It was spotless and the range of tapas was quite vast and innovative. They have over 200 different wines which you can browse via an ipad which enables you to search for virtually anything, grape type, region, producer, price, and what food it goes with - amongst other things. The aforementioned cheese board was a delight, yes they were only small portions and the cost was around 16 € for 6 different types, not cheap but they were good quality and some of the nicest we've had in this area. We will definitely visit here again so we can try more tapas.
