Very interesting place to visit. Was closed because it was out of the tourist season but great to walk around and imagine the history. Wonderful views.

A delightful large village capped with this semi ruined fortress where you can survey from North Africa to Cadiz Jerez de la frontera and Arcos de la frontera. It was perfect in winter temperatures with a visit to Roman remains but in summer those soldiers must have roasted.

What an exceptional location - used for a fortress for over 2000 years. While not much is left from the various stages of fortifications, the view alone is worth the two Euros entry fee. Explanations are bilingual in Espanol and English.

Almost didn't make this walk
It is quite steep and the temperature was almost 30°. However well worth the hike
With 360° views from the top across the rooftops. Could see for miles in all directions. Think you can probably drive to quite near the top but so many one way streets it was easier to park and walk.
