the hotel is in the main street with free off road car parking across the road, we were warmly greeted and welcomed by the landlady I am sorry but I have forgotten her name, she spoke very good English and was very helpful of where to go and where to eat and drink.
We had 2 doubles and a twin room between the 6 of us, all the rooms were very spacious very clean and well maintained, our showers were all of high quality with plenty of hot water and loads of fluffy soft towels, all the rooms had a fridge with a mini bar, we used ours for beer and water when we paid our bill we were not charged over the top for using it, in fact it was cheaper than we paid in the bar the night before.
The hotel is much larger inside than it looks and is decorated through out like some form of hunting lodge, there are all kinds of pictures, stuffed animals birds and dear heads etc. on the walls and landings, it is NOT distasteful, it is quite interesting going up the large stairs looking at everything,
Breakfast is the usual continental and plentiful with loads of tea and coffee served to each table, (I have said before in reviews if you are a tea drinker take your own tea bags one of our friends didn't get a descent cuppa over our...the hotel is in the main street with free off road car parking across the road, we were warmly greeted and welcomed by the landlady I am sorry but I have forgotten her name, she spoke very good English and was very helpful of where to go and where to eat and drink.

Breakfast is the usual continental and plentiful with loads of tea and coffee served to each table, (I have said before in reviews if you are a tea drinker take your own tea bags one of our friends didn't get a descent cuppa over our 2 wks travelling) we were given resalable plastic bags and invited to help ourselves to make sandwiches up for the day, what we don't eat will be put in the bin as they only serve fresh food,
if your travelling the Rhein and want somewhere to stay for a night we would recommend staying here, I am not sure if I would stay to long in the village, it is a little quiet and with so many similar towns on both sides there is a wide variety and choice with so much to see and do.
We had a top floor room over looking the main street through the town, we had the window open all night and hardly heard a thing it is a lovely quite sleepy town.More
