We attended this restaurant on a Sunday night, when few places in the town were open - and we were so glad we did!

The chef/owner, Alice, is a Gelato instructor, who teaches all over the world, and speaks many language, and she is passionate about the food she serves here. And the food is wonderful! We had a delightful salad, followed by a plate of cheese and meats, both shared between us, and plenty for dinner. The bread served with each was artisanal, and complemented the dish perfectly.

We asked her to bring an appropriate wine to enjoy with dinner, and it was perfect, and reasonably priced, too. She is a delightful woman, a perfect host to her dining guests, and serves honest, great quality food at reasonable prices. Who could ask for anything more?

My wife and I visited twice during our stay in town. Fantastic simple well presented menu with an extensive wine list prices to suite all budgets.
The hams, cheeses or larger meals are excellent and once again the owners couldn't be more helpful in advising or suggesting combinations of food from their menu.

Owners passionate about the food and wine they offer!

Ive been in Bologna for 2 weeks eating pizza and pasta and this was a lovely change of venue ( about 35 min outside of the city center, easy access with the 576 bus ( zone 2) lots of fresh salads and cheeses and meats and Thursdays fresh Oysters! Wonderful organic wines from a local winery, good prices. Don't forget to have some dessert! cheesecake with chocolate sauce, chocolate mousse, tiramisu. I was attending CGU ( Gelato University) and we went with a group of the students. Lovely atmosphere .. I would definitely return.
