This fine hotel offers plenty for very reasonable money. Location is perfect for the business traveler as well as for the vacationing couple. Food is absolutely top class: slow food with distinct flavours also from Puglia. Wine list TOP! Service very friendly - and also in English. San Vito is a beautiful little city with a renaissance piazza with churches and chapels of incredible grace.

This hotel is only one of very few options in the area for accommodations but its location and quality of services is great. The staff is friendly and helpful and while the room is small it is the size typical of European hotels. The bed was really comfortable and we were provided ample towels and extra pillows for the bed when we requested them. Situated just outside the medieval wall and gate it is easy to access the Piazza del Popolo for all the shops and bars and restaurants in and around the piazza. A few minor additions would make the stay even more comfortable: another shelf or vanity in the bathroom for cosmetics etc. There was only one electrical outlet in our room, so we were constantly switching our devices to charge up. There was an outlet in the bathroom but our adapter didn't fit. These were minor inconveniences.

In the village is not much choice when it comes to restaurant or hotel, but this combination I visited now a couple of times.
Friendly reception and even making something to eat after arrival after 23.00 oçlock.
Rooms are okay and bathing facilities with special massage tubs etc.
Good Italian style bereakfast.
san Vito is central when you want to visit Pordenone with old churches etc not so busy and expensive as Venice.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Patriarca for 4 nights. Arriving at the train station in Casarsa we called them and they picked us up right away. They were helpful from the beginning to the end of our stay. As we were attending a family reunion we did not eat in their restaurant other than the breakfast provided which was fresh with a good selection of foods. We will stay there again when we return in a few years.

My husband wanted to go back to his father's home town. We needed to stay for ten days to do some genealogy research. The Hotel Patriarca was the perfect location in the town square and within walking distance of the church, cemetery and terrific restaurants to meet with family. This family owned accommodation felt like home and the staff was very friendly helping us with our road trips to Venice ( only an hour away) and Lignano, a beautiful seaside town.
We will be sure to stay there the next time we travel to Italy.

Room tip: We had the king bedroom in the loft. Very roomy and lots of wardrobe space.
