We took the 35 - 40 min hike to Astner Bergalm in somewhat rainy weather and the innkeeper gave us a warm and friendly welcome. Nice views! The interior of the hut is comfy and we had a really pleasant lunch there. We really enjoyed the generous serving of Kaiserschmarren (diced pancake with raisins) and the spinach dumplings. Price ratio is ok for an alpine hut.
Everything came out of the kitchen hot and fresh and - as someone else seemed to complain about this - I actually appreciate it if the menu in an inn like this is not too big because this often means deep-frozen or convenience products are served.
