We stayed here for one night and then the morning and could not be more pleased with our stay. This hotel is not in downtown Bordeaux, but it is easy to get there via public transportation or Uber. The rooms were very clean and classy.

At night, we found that we were among mostly locals relaxing at one of the three nice restaurants on the property. We had a lovely dinner at the Japanese restaurant. Mehdi, one of the dinner hosts, provided us excellent service, wine recommendations, and helped us game plan our day in Bordeaux. Thank you Mehdi! You really made the evening.

Breakfast was serene. We didn’t catch the name of the woman who served us, but the food, the staff, and the atmosphere was worth going back for when we’re again anywhere near Bordeaux. Highly recommended.

If you’re looking for a private, relaxing place to stay and Bordeaux, this is it.

Room was excellent apart from an infestation of ants noticed on our first morning. and mentioned to reception but ants still present in significant numbers next day.. Not a major problem but not pleasant to have ants present .

On a Sunday night we did not have many alternatives and ended up a little drive away at the Domaine de Raba. The main house is stunning, the place feels stylish, so you quickly feel at home. We had a lovely table on the terrace and had a decent meal. As for beers, on a summer´s evening I quite like a cold glass of normal beer. In this restaurant however, only craft beer was avaialble and though it was not bad, I would have really preferred a nice glass of for example 1664. I think I am not alone and am surprised that the possibility is being offered.
