This family run trattoria is not far from the station, in a fairly unattractive street. The facade almost suggested that it was closed, but on entering we found a lovely room and were warmly welcomed by the Signora.,
Saturday lunch and by 1330 the place was full of locals. The menu was delivered by La Signora in rapid-fire Italian. We chose the fish salad ... exquisite and I followed with cuttlefish with polenta and my husband papadelle fresca fatto in casa with ragu’of hare. The food was absolutely first-class as was the entire experience - almost like eating “in famiglia” such was the way we were treated.
When we return to Cittadella we will be sure to revisit this Trattoria.
