This is a pleasant local restaurant with a cosy alfresco dining in the outside patio. Our friendly lady host welcomed us and provided us efficiently with warm service. She carefully explained the way each dish was prepared. They make their own milk and 7 grain buns, such a treat -they were soft and delicious. We ordered the special "Festival of Snails" Menu to try the different ways snails could be cooked that day. We had them fried, cooked in butter, etc. Eating snails is an acquired taste. The snails cooked with tajarin thin pasta was good, but the pasta was overcooked and too soft for our liking. We had a choice of 3 desserts- we selected the Bunet- chocolate pannacota like pudding. It was rather sweet and topped with crispy peanuts.
We also had the veal cheek braised in Barolo wine- it turned out rather uninteresting.
Completing the set snail menu took us 3 hours.
