“The photos say it all”
Reviewed 5 May 2016 for a stay in April 2016

This place is amazing, every bit as 'wow' as it looks in the photos. Indoor pool, sauna, games room, cinema, huge BBQ, bar, gym, loads of seating inside and out so whatever the weather and whether you all want to be together all you want some quiet time there is always somewhere to go. The children loved controlling the blinds and lights and temperature by the touch of a button, not to mention the lift! And we did occasionally leave the villa to explore the stunning Sierra Nevada National Park - great walking and my husband and I are trying to plan another visit without the kids to go climbing! Granada is a great city - The Alhambra is definitely on the list for our next visit.

“True Luxury for large family group”

Absolutely stunning villa. Everything about the place has been well thought out and is very luxurious. We went with a large family group. The indoor pool was a big hit, and was used daily. The kids loved all the jets and the pool was a perfect temp for my 6 month old. The cinema room was a hit with my 2 year old, she thouroghly enjoyed reclining her chair and watching Peppa! All rooms are fantastic, but we were lucky enough to get the master bedroom, with a click of a button all the blinds go up to reveal a large balcony and stunning views across Granada. There is that much to do in the villa you don't need to leave! However, the Sierra Nevada national park is a minute's walk away and was great for walks for all abilities and we also visited the ski centre which looks like it offers great skiing. Highly recommend this place.

“First Class all the way!”
Reviewed 18 February 2016 for a stay in December 2015

I spent New Years eve in this wonderful contemporary villa! The views from the villas are amazing and the design and use of space is extremely generous. The villa is kitted out with the best of home automation. The styling of the villa is incredible using a mix of soft warm colours to give it a homely feel. There is also a cinema room and games room to add to the mix. Overall, this is exactly what I would want if I was to build my own villa. Thank you very much Colin, Mabel and the family for an unforgettable beautiful stay!

“Mr Bond! I'll Buy You a Delicatessen, in Stainless Steel!”

Great house, expectation was high when it reared into view as we were winding our way up the hills and the place didn't disappoint.
Real James Bond territory, all steel and glass, expecting Blofeld to swing round in the chair when we took the lift to the basement. Instead we were met with not only a pool table but a pool! And a cinema, the works. There are big screen TVs a go-go throughout the house with a media system. Plenty of tunes at your finger-tips for throwing a few shapes.. ..which leads one to the bar, some view from up there. Cracker terrace too. The place is Tip Top.

“The absolute last word in luxury!”
Reviewed 4 February 2016 for a stay in October 2015

We were offered the chance to spend a week in this property soon after its completion. I can't recommend it highly enough. The absolute last word in luxury! Every last detail has been considered, from a really well equipped kitchen to amazing swimming pools and cinema. We enjoyed it so much that we have booked to go back in March with our extended family of 4 generations, age range from 84 years to 6 months. The lift will ensure that everyone will be able to access all floors. The surrounding area is perfect for our passion of hill walking, with the luxury of relaxing in the heated indoor pool afterwards. But we also enjoyed our one day of rain and our evenings relaxing in the cinema, playing pool etc. I predict table tennis and pool competitions between our family members in March! In terms of practicalities; there are 2 large fridge freezers and 2 dishwashers, plenty of dishes, pots, pans etc etc to feed a large group. The dining area is also large enough to seat everyone. There are several seating areas to relax in so that groups can spread themselves around the property and not get under each other's feet! During our stay we did 3 spectacular hill walks, the views really are amazing. On one of the walks we set off from the villa. For the others we drove about 10 minutes to a car park and set off from there. Our walks all took between 4 and 6 hours, but it is possible to do very short flat walks from the car park which also give amazing views. We also drove to the Sierra Nevada ski area, about 40 minutes away. We have never skied there, but believe it offers really good skiing for beginners and intermediates, so we'll be trying that out in March! We visited Granada one day, about 20 minutes away, and enjoyed walking round the old town and eating in a wonderful restaurant. We plan to visit the Alhambra in March. We enjoyed sampling the local food in the areas around the villa and particularly enjoyed the local custom of free tapas when you order a drink! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Silverfield Villa and I would be happy to recommend it to anybody looking for accommodation for a large group of people, whether it's friends, clubs or extended families. Can't wait to go back again in March!
