My wife and I have made this our regular anniversary getaway. We absolutely love the property - its isolation and its beauty - and the nearby surroundings. The day bed area is a particular favourite our mine as you can catch the winter sunshine and read for hours. For sunset we go to the back deck and enjoy the views. Evening time is best spent in front of the fireplace with a bottle of red wine. Followed by a great night's sleep.
We always leave inspired to take on the world. Will be back for sure.
From the moment we arrived we were made to feel extremely welcome by the owners of the property who were there to greet us.
When we entered the property, we were taken aback by how spacious it was. Each room is tastefully and stylishly decorated in an Indian/Oriental style.
We were spoilt for choice for both indoor and outdoor areas to relax in - there is a large patio out the front, a lengthy balcony out back, a lovely pool with deck chairs and a large back garden with picturesque views over the nearby valley and national park.
The main indoor living area is equipped with a cosy fireplace and state of the art sound system. The kitchen is large and also very well equipped.
You really get the feeling that the owners have created a space they would love to live in to ensure that you will love your stay too. It is private and serene and feels like you are a world away from your troubles.
You would never know that the property is just a stones throw from the lush Kondalilla Falls National Park if you enjoy exploring and being amongst nature.
It is equally close to Montville Village which is brimming with quaint little shops selling everything from handicrafts and jewellery to scones and fudge where you can while away hours of your time.
If you're looking for an escape from your busy life then I cannot recommend this wonderful property highly enough. Although we spent only a weekend there, it felt like we had been away for weeks. It is everything that we had hoped for and more.
The holiday house is located very near to Montville village centre and there are also many other good restaurants nearby for all sorts of variety and price-range.
The house is very homely and well decorated - with an oriental touch.
We particularly enjoyed the fireplace in the lounge and bar area. It is very cosy for drinks after dinner.
We spent a few days at Nirvana in July 2012...it is a lovely place with a very homely feel to it. The bedrooms are a decent size and the kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed the fireplace and the kids just loved to sit around it either reading or playing board games. I would definitely go back and highly recommend it for a lovely family getaway not far from Brisbane!!

My family stayed at Nirvana at Montville for the second time in April this year. It is a beautiful, large home that is decorated very well. Compared to our busy lives, the stay was indeed a much needed escape from the world. We really enjoyed the pool and, the daybed (for naps and reading) and the sunrise from the verandahs. Unfortunately, it was not cold enough for the fireplace to be used. The Elements Cafe nearby was wonderful and made great coffee and breakfast. The whole family enjoyed the walk to the Kondalila national park and went for a swim in the rockpools (which was pretty awesome). Would recommend and would visit again.
