It was interesting to see this new touristic and commercial part of Visegrad. It has big monuments to Tesla, Andric, Mehmed pasa Sokolovic and his brother Makarije. Everything too monumental and kitch for my taste. Interesting enough
Best way to visit this place is by taking a boat tour from Perucac. We recommend Tara tours and Grizzly boat. It is a small place so there is enough time to walk around and then sit down, relax and eat ćevapi.
I really liked Andrićgrad, clean wide streets with cafes and squares. It has a parking lot that is very close, connected to the city and located in the center. Prices are not expensive, moreover they are very affordable. There are local artists on the street selling paintings and the price is very reasonable.
Very interesting place, nice and very clean. Walking here is like reading some stories, since every corner is dedicate to some historical person. There is some cute places to stop by and refresh with drink or icecream. Seems like there is an idea to build more inside this complex, or that some buildings will gain some purpose that will also atract tourists
This place is certainly worth a visit. I spent about 2 hours here wandering in pure amazement at what has been built. It is a gorgeous place and definitely worth visiting if you are in the area!
