Cottage
Sweet Pea Cottage dates back to the 18th Century and retains a wealth of character. It has been sympathetically renovated and contains many character features; beamed ceilings, stained glass windows and a private sunny courtyard to name a few. The cottage oozes charm and it's style is a combination of vintage, retro and English country cottage. Sweet Pea Cottage is moments from the River Fal and a fifteen minute walk from Ponshardon Park & Float where you can enjoy a boat trip to many great locations or simply cruise into Falmouth.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.
Holiday rental reviews collected via the VRBO website (formerly Homeaway) and syndicated to the Tripadvisor website are not currently subject to Tripadvisor’s standard moderation processes.

Beautiful cottage. Really clean and very well equipped
My husband & I , 15 year old son and 2 dogs had a very enjoyable 3 night break in this stunning cottage. Very spacious with a sunny enclosed garden. All the fittings were of a very high quality. The kitchen is well equipped. Excellent base to explore this lovely area. We are already planning a return visit.

August Bank Holiday weekend
Perfect and absolutely wonderful. My partner on the spur of the moment decided that we should take some of the grandchildren away to meet their aunts and uncle in Cornwall. A little last minute, but what a find. My partner and I are frequent travellers to the Falmouth area and I had lived, temporarily, in Penryn many years ago so we both knew the town well. The Property we suspect has had a recent makeover. The bedrooms were perfectly sized and accommodated the three grand children and two adults easily. The provision of a high chair by the owner was a bonus. We arrived early afternoon to the Property to find a basket full of fresh home made scones, jam and local clotted cream. The downstairs kitchen dinning area and lounge was perfect and the courtyard garden made a perfectly safe play area for the youngest grandchild as well as a great outdoor eating area. The basics are well catered for , dishwasher, washing machine and so on. the only trivial draw back if there were more adults in the party is the single bathroom and toilet, but good planning would deal with this. The television works along with the useful collection of DVD's , books and guide to the local area. If one is not familiar with a medieval town then beware that the Property fronts a two way street which looks like it should be one way and there are double yellow lines everywhere, one needs to accept parking in either of the two car parks one of which is free. Loading and unloading is easily accomplished, but the walk up the hill will take your breath. The town is well served with shops and there is plenty of further choice in Falmouth or if one must then Truro. Would we return? Most certainly!
