Overall experience was amazing and relaxing. The bed was so comfortable. My mum especially had a great night sleep. Food was delicious. Staff all over the hotel were friendly and polite, the grounds and views are spectacular. Look forward to going back soon.

We went here for our one year anniversary and it was bang average. The hotel was gorgeous on lovely grounds and spa was nice too, BUT that was ruined with the service. My partner had secretly booked balloons, a petal love heart and chocolate strawberry’s for the room. At the reception on check in, we had already paid for the hotel, room and gifts, but they recharged us £90 plus a £50 deposit fee, when everything was already paid for. On arriving in the room there was no chocolate strawberry’s there which ruined the surprise when my partner had to go down and ask for them as well as query the extra charge. After them trying to argue the charge, they admitted it was their fault and we got the money refunded. Strawberry’s were brought up but these included 5 of the smallest chocolate covered strawberries, not £40 worth which was what they charged just for the strawberries. Then we went to dinner and the waiter brought over my correct order but my partners wrong order for our main. We then had to wait 15 minutes for his to come out, they never even took mine away and gave me a fresh one so we could eat dinner together. I had finished my meal by the time his came, great anniversary dinner together. NOT. A shame that a gorgeous place like this is ruined by bad service.

Dear Emily,

Thankyou for taking the time to provide feedback from your recent stay with us at Gleddoch House. I am sorry you left feeling dissatisfied with your experience.

please accept my sincerest apologies that you were double charged at check in for the extras in the room, I will be sure to speak with our reception team regarding this.

We ask all guests for a £50.00 deposit on check in, this is also on your pre stay email that you would have received after booking your stay with us.

Our chocolate strawberries are £10.00 per portion and not £40.00, again I am sorry that these were not in the room for you arriving.

Please email me George@gleddoch,com and we can discuss your complaint in more detail, I don't have any information at all about your reservation so it will make it easier for me to investigate your complaint.

Kind Regards
George Millar

Mixup at check in started our overnight stay, but these things happen. First impressions was nice grounds, nice building. Went for lunch which had a very limited choice. Quite pricey for standard of food.
Had a spa treatment booked, £100 for 45 mins, by the time the therapist started only 35 mins, wasn’t the greatest hot stone, felt like she wasn’t very interested and just rubbed my back. The spa has been done on the cheap, changing rooms tatty and not clean. The pricing makes it sound much more up market than it is.
Dinner was good but a limited choice
Overall - won’t be back or recommend. Need to up the standards as poor value for money

Dear Linda,

Thankyou for taking the time to provide feedback from your recent stay with us at Gleddoch House. I am sorry you left feeling dissatisfied with your experience.

If you could send me your contact details and I can investigate your complaint regarding your treatment with our spa and leisure manager.

Please be assured there has already been a lot of money spent on upgrading our spa, and there is still a lot of work being carried out at the moment, and I will totally disagree with your comment regarding it being done on the cheap, this couldn't be further from the truth.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Dear SF.

Thankyou for taking the time to provide feedback from your recent stay with us at Gleddoch House. I am sorry you left feeling dissatisfied with your experience.

I am however delighted you found our staff to be friendly and helpful, I will be sure to pass on your kind comments to the wider team.

I must disagree with your comments regarding the spa facilities being dirty and broken, as firstly we have no broken facilities and they are clean.

Our restaurant has very recently changed the menu in our vista restaurant for both lunch and evening meals, I am sorry these were not to your taste.

I spent a half day at the spa & it was EVERYTHING. My package included the use of all the spa facilities, a 30 minute massage & I upgraded for an afternoon tea. My massage therapist was Heather and she was devine. Besides being a beautiful person, she listened to my needs, my body's needs and it made my massage experience exactly what I needed it to be. The spa facilities were amazing. The outdoor hot tub made it that extra special. Lastly, upgrading to the afternoon tea (just £10) was just WOW. I was dancing in my seat. The whole experience was everything I needed that day and I'm very grateful for that.

Stayed at Gleddoch for our Wedding Anniversary and had a really lovely time.

Stayed in the Clyde suite & it was beautiful and tastefully decorated. Massive spa bath in the room which was an added treat for our special occasion.

Had lunch and dinner at the hotel and both was excellent. We had the fillet steak for dinner and it was cooked to perfection.

Our biggest compliments were to the waiting staff who were just amazing and very attentive. They made our stay extra special so please pass on our sincere thanks to all the guys.
