We have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions. The welcome is always friendly and it is a relatively small hotel. This means that the onsen is rarely very busy; it is not uncommon to be the only one there. The hotel's location is great - you walk out on to the slopes. It is also only a short walk to restaurants and shops, on a heated footpath. The Welcome Centre is close-by, giving access to buses to other areas and Kutchan. Food at the breakfast buffet is of an extensive variety and good quality. Access to ski lockers is easy and a cloak room is useful on the day of departure. Wi-fi is generally available and reliable. We would stay here each year.

Room Tip: See if you can get a room with a view of the slopes.

The spa is awesome- men and women separate!! Water is really hot and natural mineral water ! Indoor
And outdoor spa are amazing. Cold water dip tank keeps you invigorated!! Neat spot to bath, shave and rinse off while seated !
True Japanese spa experience. Don’t bring bathing suit as it’s not allowed!

Love the swimming pool here, with Jacuzzi, very relaxing. Compact and very convenient to ski in and out though the interior is a little worn out. Food is much better than expected with friendly staff. Excellent kid caring service,

We stayed at newly renovated room which is pretty nice. Location is wonderful: ski ticket office and lift is in front of hotel, bus stop and information center is cross street which is 4 minuets walk. The hotel service is excellent, everyone is super nice. The outdoor onsen is the best, facing the ski area. Breakfast has enough choices, in addition, dining room has great view! Of course, price is high with such location. It is worth it if you ski.

Great spot, ski in ski out, rooms okay for a short stay.
Limited self contained/self catering rooms available. Book early.
Should you need a longer stay, then go somewhere else because here there's very limited self contained & it comes at a premium price.
Shop, cafe, restaurant - all within.
Heated 25 m pool, male and female onsens & ceramic stone saunas.
Staff are lovely and eager to please.
Breakfast caters to all tastes.
**Be sure to ask for a renovated room, otherwise beds are like concrete & pillows as hard as bricks.
I would recommend ensuring you communicate your need for comfy bedding gets through to the right person.
Very limited self contained rooms on offer.
Easy walking distance, downhill, to shops.
Local shuttle bus runs regularly to save any uphill walking, if that's a deterrent.
Snow sports gear hire is right at the door, as are lift tickets, etc.
