We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel La Gazelle du Dades. Clean rooms, beautiful views, hot water and the Moroccan hospitality is top class! Unfortunately, we were unable to connect to wifi.

A special thanks to Moha: Upon asking how a tagine meal is prepared, he offered to give us a personal cooking class. He was patient, answered all our questions and his attention to detail and taste made sure of a beautiful and tasty dish! Other guests said it was the best tagine they had in Morocco.

Furthermore, Moha also phoned our tour guide to say we forgot our pants in the room (after wanting to make more space in our bags for our purchases). Splendid service!

Thank you, La Gazelle!

We stayed here as part of a small tour. The staff were very friendly and spoke multiple languages. The rooms were basic but comfortable (bathroom doors a bit noisy so it's hard to go in the middle of the night without waking someone up! but otherwise everything worked fine). The room had a balcony looking out onto an impressive cliff face. We slept well.

We had a dinner and breakfast here, both about similar quality to the rest of our Morocco tour so far. Breakfast was a buffet with typical Moroccan breakfast food; bread, really (!!) creamy thick butter, jams, hard boiled egg, mint tea, coffee (with cardarmom in it I think?). Waiter had lots of banter.

There is reliable wifi in the reception but not elsewhere.

We stayed here for one night during a 3-day tour of southeastern Morocco. The hotel was part of the tour's package and you can see why - the hotel is pretty 'bare bones', cheap, and somewhat clean.

The rooms are very basic with the beds encompassing a mattress on top of a cement slab built-out from the war, which does not make for the most comfortable sleep. Not sure if all rooms have this, but a nice addition was the private balcony.

The hotel offered breakfast and dinner, but I'm pretty sure the latter is done due to the arrangement with the tour company rather than being a standard service. Having said that, the dinner was above average.

Overall, I likely would not stay here if there was an option. However, the room rates appeared quite reasonable so if you're in the area and on a budget, it might be worth a look.

We stayed here for two nights on our way from Merzouga to Marrakech to spend a day trekking in the mountains around Dades valley. The rooms were great, the beds incredibly comfortable, awesome balconies, and the food was very nice. The staff was very helpful and made you feel at home. It was a very familiar place that we really enjoyed to use as a base to explore the area around.

We stayed here for a night as part of the desert tour. More like a hostel. The floors were very dusty. The beds were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was adequate. The people were very friendly. The dinner and breakfast were awesome.
