This is our second visit & it doesn't fail to deliver great surroundings, great hospitality & great home cooked food. It was December 2016, when we fell across this little gem & decided to revisit today. Absolutely superb.

Found this little gem online whilst looking for somewhere to book at last minute on Sunday lunch just gone. I rang up on Sunday morning and booked for 2 people and a dog - more than happy to squeeze us in. On arrival they were very attentive, serving us our drinks immediately and more than welcoming to my puppy - bringing her a water bowl to have by her throughout our meal. The Sunday Lunch menu had a good variety with a 1, 2 or 3 course deal option. For starters, we chose crayfish & prawn cocktail, as well as feta, olive & tomato tartlet - both delicious! As for mains, we both had roast pork with crackling, a Yorkshire pudding & lots of veg - again, very tasty! Unfortunately, we didn’t have room for dessert, but we are already planning on coming back to sample their weekday/main menu. Overall, a beautiful & traditional pub with great quality food & attentive service!

We were on our way back from south to Harlech after a funeral and just dropped in. I had seen it before when traveling south for work but never stopped. What a surprise - we were very warmly welcomed by the owner and seated and order taken for drinks. We were two but pleasingly the table set for two, was a good size. Drinks, menus etc. arrived promptly and the service was excellent. Food was good and all locally produced. Will be stopping again on our journeys back and will ensure others know of the Windmill Inn.

Amazing food served with a personal touch! It was very tasty. The meat was incredible and there was a lot of time spent with the presentation of the dishes. The starters and mains were incredible but wouldn’t recommend the desserts. They were expensive for the quality of them, which was a slight disappointment after having such a great main meal. Would definitely recommend a visit though!
