This is our ten times coming here. Nice owner and automatically nice people who served us. The brochette was as good as years ago. Bravo Aurelien and Tresia!

a menu that looks great when read on the wall (there isn't even a card and waiter to explain it) but in reality very bland inconsistent and presented very badly (fruit salad like e crumble eggs or sandwich without any taste etc ) I had already been there other times before the pandemic and everything was better and more cared for if also always in the Spartan and homely style. the only interesting breakfast with bread made by them and different jams and butter has been canceled from the menu. each dish has extra costs if you want a side dish or bread etc. overall the limit between the "funny and innovative" and the scruffy they passed a lot! water from the bin dripping on the ground, cobwebs and dust everywhere, doormat at the entrance that raises dirt at every step ... unfortunately indecorous.

My partner had a brochette, and really enjoyed it. I had a panini, it was pretty average. Not a traditional warung in any way. But it is popular.
It was decorated for Christmas. That was a nice touch because not many places in Bali are decorated.

Met friends for lunch here, never heard of this place before so no expectation, but frankly even if I did I would have probably come anyways, which is why I feel like I need to write this review.

Service: Self service, which I’m fine with so not deducting point based on that

Food: Three of us ordered three different things, one thing in common THEY’RE ALL BLAND as if they were all boiled and then covered in sauces (which also don’t taste except for the ketchup, completely mind blown). Beans were over cooked. How they charge such high price in Bali for this quality of food is beyond me.

Drinks: 35k for a coconut that’s not even cold (and they don’t mention that) it’s more expensive than much nicer restaurants. I suspect it’s just a strategy just so you go for other even more marked up drinks.

Environment: Rustic style, nothing special about it.

Overall: DO NOT GO THERE (unless you don’t mind seasoning your own food and overpay)
