The service, the food and the atmosphere were as in our expectation. The menu has the option for all of us (four of us with different food prefference) which made us happy to pinch each other food.

Orderd 2, 150g beef, one portion was way bigger than the other it was obvious, not grilled at all was just boiled with no flavor top it all it was 290 000 IDR only good thug was the chips, what a joke

I generally prefer to speak to a Manager if we have a bad experience but no one was available so here I go, resorting to a TripAdvisor review.
It was our first time visiting this warung. We have been wanting to go for quite some time and finally came for dinner.
The ambience is lovely and the french fries were good, but all the other food was a miss. We ordered brochettes, but found the menu quite confusing.
The steak was undercooked and not prepared according to our order. The salad was drowning in dressing. The octopus was cold and not cooked properly. The truffle mashed potatoes were too oily, too chunky and needed salt. They also served the pumpkin to us COLD. We kept having to send things back. It was embarrassing.
Finally, after all of this, we were overcharged on our bill. We didn’t realize it until after we had paid with the card.
Sadly, we probably won’t go back. There are too many good restaurants in Berawa. Our bill was 900k Rp, less an overcharge of 150 for 3 people!!! Really expensive (and no alcohol!) Nothing worse than overpaying for a disappointing meal 😞☹️

What a lovely place. The food, service, and atmosphere were each and all lovely. The menu is simple and compelling. The pricing is reasonable. I wanted to try everything! Settled on the grilled octopus that came with an array of wonderful homemade dips and two delicious sides. Fabulous! The dishes served to others around me for sure will bring me back, as too want to sample myself! Kudos to the team for such a wonderfully comfortable ambiance backed by great food!

*Only one additional comment for the team, that is important to share but that I would not want to distract from the overall strongly favorable impression. My dish came with two equally sized pieces of octopus... the tentacle was exquisite - perfectly cooked and as I good as I have had anywhere in the world, truly. Kudos! The second piece was the body... and it was dry, rubbery, and nearly inedible. QC.

One of the hidden gems in Bali in a rustic french style. Absolutely love the ambiance and of course the food as well. We tried a big salad and THE PRESS. Everything is prepared in the open kitchen just in front of you which is really nice addition to the whole atmosphere.
