Just spent a week in this lovely villa with three generations of family. Plenty of space for everyone - sleeps 8 people comfortably plus a cot for the baby. The outside space is wonderful, for eating al fresco/BBQ and for relaxing. The pool area may seem small but in fact it is a good usable size, with sufficient loungers and very well maintained.
Having the owner, Lina, on hand was a real bonus. She is very knowledgeable about the local area and nothing is too much trouble if you need help with anything.
We were there early season, so everywhere was quiet but it isn't a very touristy area anyway. Not much English spoken!

You need a car to get here and to travel around. Easy nip to the shops and the beach; 1 hour trips to Lecce, Ostuni; day trips to the Trulli and Castellana caves - all worth doing. Eating out inexpensive and we found the cafes and restaurant staff all very welcoming.
Having 2 bathrooms, wi-fi, good air-con, lots of fridge space, good physical security all make it very well-equipped.
The attentive owner and all the outdoor space - obvs pool but also outdoor cooking, choice of dining areas, beautiful old olive trees - made this such an enjoyable place to stay and a 5 star recommendation.

2 reviews We stayed for 2 weeks with our daughters and granddaughters. The house is pleasant with air-conditioning and mossie killers provided. The grounds were safe enough for the little ones to go off looking for lizards and picking lemons. We all loved the pool, the nearby beaches and the area is not too touristy. The owner was most helpful, with advice and translation to hand when we needed it. We had a lovely time.
