There were no screens/no in-seat entertainment on our flight from Newark to Dublin! Good thing I had a good book to read!

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of United airlines during a recent flight. The plane had very adequate room in front of seats. The seat configuration was such you did not have to climb over people to access the aisle. The food was delicious! We were so surprised after previous flights. The cabin staff were hard workers, pleasant, and very attentive.

The staff served until with a half hour of touchdown, which allowed for a longer ‘nighttime’

The UA flights out of Cincinnati have improved greatly based on the type of planes as well as the timing of some of the flights. In particular, the Cincinnati to Denver flight is typically on a nice size plane with good entertainment and the timing is truly excellent. Especially for connections to the West Coast such as Vancouver, BC. The crew was quite pleasant and the trip overall was more pleasant given the length of the travel time.

The flights going and coming were smooth. There were no delays. Everyone knew their job and was doing it and were kind.

The only negative I can say is the gate area for the return flight from Honolulu was quite a hike. And the area was very worn out, looked like a left over waiting area from WWII

Flight from RDU to Newark was on time and uneventful which was fine. Flight to Edinburgh left Newark early and arrived early. The food served for supper was excellent. Return flight from Edinburgh to Newark left on time and arrived on time. Breakfast -- an omelet, sausage and fruit -- was served. I've never had a worse omelet and didn't like the sausage either. My husband ate both his and mine. The flight from Newark to RDU left just a little late which was a blessing. We would have missed it if it had left on time. Going through customs, changing terminals and going back through security took longer than the 1 1/2 hours we had. The flight was uneventful -- which was good. The best thing that United did was to enable us to change our return flights due to Hurricane Florence which was to arrive in Raleigh about the time we were. We did take advantage of this offer and returned on a flight about 3 hours earlier than the original flight.
