I fly a LOT and this was, by far, the worst experience I've ever had. We paid $92 per person to upgrade for extra legroom, which gave us barely more legroom than a cheap seat on Delta. The whole plane was such a hot box everyone was dripping w sweat. The seats felt like wooden folding chairs and the smallest person our party (wears a size med men's US) filled his set entirely. This meant the rest of us were basically sardines in our uncomfortable, over heated chairs. The staff were friendly enough, though every time they brought the carts down the aisles, they bumped it along the seats all the way down. The aisles are so small everyone had to walk sideways down them.
To top it all off, they forced us to check our carry on, stating it was "too large" (which was the same exact size as everyone else's, and I measured in advance for compliance). They then promptly lost all of our luggage. We have no clothes and no toiletries, the replacement of which, even for a couple days in hopes they find our stuff, is costing us into the hundreds. (Large party of 6) There's no live person to speak with on the matter, so we had to place an online report. They located our luggage but the report says the "rush delivery" won't be for another day, possibly two. They offer no compensation and refuse to work with us in any way. I'm actually crushed that we have to fly home with this airline because I already know it's going to be torture again. If I could afford to book on another airline and just eat the cost, I 100% would. We will NEVER fly this airline again. And, the group we met up with at our destination won't either. Altogether, I know it's a small number, but in 2 days, swiss airlines has lost 15 customers forever. More, once I tell folks back home. Absolutely hate this airline. Criminals!!!
