Purchased a BUSINESS class ticket from Reno to RDU. What a joke. Southwest is still a cattle airline no matter what you pay for your ticket. Add to it rude attendants and poor customer service - flight attendant Deb should be fired.
Flight to Denver ran out of fuel circling over Denver, re-routed to steamboat springs (middle of nowhere) to refuel. We were told all the flights on Denver are delayed because of weather but our flight to RDU somehow made it out of Denver 20mins before we landed after a two hour delay. We get to Denver and find out that instead of getting booked on a non stop flight to RDU, we're on a connecting flight through BWI. No food vouchers, no hotel accomodations. It seems they missed the memo on the Biden act. Absolutely rude Southwest employees both at the airport and on our flight. Special mention to flight attendant Deb, who takes the trophy for absolute rudeness and poor customer service.
Flight #3877 Denver RDU on 8/6. Southwest management you sell business class tickets and treat passengers like cattle, and your employees are rude.
Advice - Do Not fly southwest. And I hope you never run into rude Deb on their flights if SW is your only option.
I love flying southwest. I have a brother who works for southwest and has nothing but incredible things to say about the airline. My ONLY bad experience has ever been at the gates. Customer service is so disappointing. Today, I asked if I could get a boarding pass (flying standby) and the woman told me “not until 7:30”. When I came back at 7:30, she seemed frustrated/annoyed that I was back so promptly and said “5 more minutes”.
When I came back for the final time, she didn’t say a single word. Reached her hand out for my ID and then handed me my boarding pass. When I told her thank you, I never got a response.
This isn’t the first and I’m sure it won’t be the last. But I hope southwest does better in training their people what customer service truly is.
I simply just want to go see my mom.
I’ve flown with southwest several times and all have been mediocre or terrible. This particular experience was terrible and I will never fly southwest again. Flight was delayed by 50 minutes. When my first flight from Seattle ended I checked the flight statuses at the airport and it said it my connection flight was STILL delayed. I checked on my Apple wallet 15 mins later, it said the flight was STILL delayed. We waited three gates away and didn’t hear our name the entire time waiting. So, my husband and I go over to board and see there is no line (we were there when our boarding pass stated the boarding time was, 1:30 pm), and they refused to board us as the entire plane had boarded. We received no notification in anyway that our flight was going to depart at the initial time of 1:35 pm. The gate person essentially said “oh well, everyone else boarded on time”. Southwest has a complete disregard for its customers and a lack of effective communication. If we would have received any type of communication (email, text, change in virtual boarding pass, etc) that our flight was on time we would have been at the gate, but we didn’t. We were following our virtual boarding. Me and my husband will never fly with them again. I highly recommend to go with literally ANY other airline. I’ve never been treated like this with Alaska or Delta and I’ve flown with them numerous times.
Southwest flights are terrible for customers, I can't fly with airlines like Southwest that don't treat customers well, always playing tricks to sell boxes to earn more from passengers. Too terrible 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
