Checking in with 2 children as an adult. I checked in online and jetstar purposely seated the adult away from the two young children. The seat near the children was unoccupied. Leaving me no choice but to purchase seats together. Disgusting company. This occurs everything you check in online. Why would you allow young children to be seated alone when their adult is traveling with them. Air new zealand all day everyday. This is a ploy to get customers to purchase seats. Money hungry punks.
Terrible worst experience, second time to take Jetstar, fly with carry luggage only. Due to the limited time, didn’t have check in luggage, I had one carry luggage and laptop bag with charger, asked to pay $75 for over 7 kg (laptop), didn’t have time to check in luggage. It’s just happened before boarding. Staff was rude, came to the gate with scale just before boarding.
Never had same experience before with any other airlines, think twice before fly with Jetstar especially when you have carry luggage.
Top rate service....firstly some kind help initated by Jetstar staff member Andriane and then the offer of an earlier flight, as we were at the airport super early. Sorted by colleague Ali. Super impressed with these Jetstar staff. The flight was on time, crew pleasant.
A top rate experience. Thankyou.
Flight was significantly delayed, with airline disorganisation to the point that an off-duty captain had to step in to fly the plane. Cabin crew were dishonest about the ability of passengers to complete paper immigration declaration forms, and therefore did not hand any out in flight. This meant that I had the choice of filling in five separate forms at 3 am in the customs arrival area, or spending 30 minutes doing it electronically. The immigration officer, when asked why Jetstar wouldn’t have handed out paper forms in the flight, said “they basically lied to you”. I was travelling with three kids under five. Instead of getting home at midnight, we’ll get home at 4.30 am. This was, and will be, my last Jetstar flight.
