“The worst airline in the world”
Review of Jetstar Airways - Australia & New Zealand

Probably the worst airline in the world. I arrived 12:22 pm to the airport, over an hour to flights departure. Only to denied my bag check-in.

The only way was to $170 to be put in the next flight. The plane stayed at the airport for another 1.45 hours. They are basically just a cheap airline, they just want more money as they really need it.

From now on I’d rather to pay more to flight with an expensive airline than with this terrible company.

The personal at the airport is also very rude and careless. She literally laughed at me I only asked for my flight the first time.

They scammed me out of 280 Australian dollars. They lied online and over the phone. Iw as charged an enormous amount of money at rhe airport for an oferage charge. I was NOT over the allowance I was told I had. They lie to you to scam you out of mkeny. They refused to refund me the amount they basically stole from me. NEVER fly with them unless you love getting ripped off and stolen from.

Jetstar delayed our flight by (3) hours with (5) minutes notice.
I had to exit the gate terminal and re-enter the check-in station, to find a customer service representative.
That representative knew nothing about the delay, and rhetoricly asked, ‘what do you expect from a budget airline?’
Jetstar’s incompetence is not worth their purported cost-savings.
I recommend Jetstar get its act together.

Only had the choice of flying jetstar out of maroochydore due to flight times.
Needed to change flight time - $700 extra cost on top of original cost. Nice!!
Flew with less luggage weight and less carry on than on way up with Qantas and jetstar charged us an extra $85 at the gate as our carry on was 2 kilos over!! What a joke.
Total money grabbing cheap airline.
Only confirms why you avoid the cheap airlines and go with Qantas or virgin.
Or more so read their rules…..which of course only benefit them.

The last time I will be travelling Jetstar. Flew domestically and usually do because it’s more affordable but this does not mean cheaper seats comes with rude behaviour from staff. The team in Wellington NZ need a refresher course on basic customer service skills. Particularly when weighing carry on luggage. There are people who actually stick to the weight so if it’s over the standard 7kg weight, the next question you should ask is “did you purchase 14kgs.” I was taken aback by his rude line of questioning and tone that followed. The overall demeanour of staff is unwelcoming. Jetstar need to make it easier for people by also allowing people to weigh carry on bags at the check in counter instead of only at the gate.
