Complaint to Jetstar
I am absolutely disgusted by this company. First we arrive at this airport and hour before our flight, we see a massive queue of people for baggage drop. This is the first major problem, it is understaffed and the staff have poor management issues. We finally get to the front, with 5 minutes until we board. The lady that helped us for our baggage check in was absolutely useless and I’m quite shocked by her behaviour. When we get to her desk, she is obviously under qualified
Lack of duty of care and inefficient, when she goes off about 3 different times for many minutes ask in her colleagues for help, not only is this company understaffed and has lack of duty of care, they also have very little training and can’t help their customers. This lady starts demanding ID for the 11 year old, and goes off again to ask her colleagues. About 5 more minutes later she comes back “oh, your flights gate is closed”. We weren’t the only one in this situation, many, many people were missing their flight due to the lack of energy from the companies staff. Even the person next to us had to get their flight re booked because they missed it. The “gate closing” line was about as long as the normal one. This was just for bag drop. Our flight was rescheduled to 8 hours later. What an absolute nuisance, I will be never flying with Jetstar again, and I hope you don’t either.
