Don’t Trust Ryanair when booking a flight
I Booked parking on the Ryanair app, when I booked the flight to Farouk Sunday to Sunday, in the Mid stay carpark, after I booked I have since changed by car registration plate and decided to stay the night before
I contacted Ryanair on the 18th Jan and explained I had changed the plate and was staying a day earlier Saturday night, the Ryanair representative advised me to rebook on the Ryanair app, a new car parking booking, then to contact Ryanair and get the original booking refunded
I’ve since contacted Ryanair and have been advised that I was given incorrect information, Ryanair keep all the calls for 90 days, I will be contacting them for a copy of the call and will be taking this to the county court as all other avenues are pointless
TRY OTHER AIRLINES WHEN BOOKING FLIGHTS, BEFORE USING RYANAIR THEY HAVE VERY POOR CUSTOMER CARE AND ARE DISHONEST AND UNTRUSTWORTHY
Where do you start .
Traveling with family , children and 6 month old baby .
Was at the gate in time but waited for queue to die down because of taking baby out of pram and holding for lengths of time .
As we approached to board we had issues folding the pram down
Two ladies on desk shouted the gate is closed , even though people were still walking down the stairs and visibly asking to plane .
I responded “what “ to which the other lady said to her shall I just close it .
She winked at her and said yea .
We explained that they visibly witnessed us having issues with pram .
They made some sarcastic comments and let us through .
The return flight was even worse .
Insisted we wasn’t allowed our duty free bag we had just purchased at the airport .
Put cabin bag in hold which fitted then said no as I had took my scarf off and put it over my bag .
Ripped our tag off our bag .
Shouted at my daughter what are you doing with you phone ? Let me see , my daughter replied texting someone .
The desk lady said no videoing , my daughter replied I’m not videoing why would I .
They disallowed the baby pram on board even though its cabin approved and payed for two infant belongings .
So when we got off the plane the pram was soaked which our 6 month in then had to go in .
Also the car seat cover was ripped open .
Absolutely disgusting.
Ruined a family trip .
Different rules for different people .
Some people allowed on with oversize bags who told us they only had non priority.
Other passengers were saying how disrespectful and rude they were to us ! Never again ! Would rather get the boat or another airline then ever use Ryan air again !
Before you book try to get through to the helpline. I've been on hold so long I gave up and came here to leave a review in the hope it helps someone else avoid the stress this companies website has caused me. It has ruined my holiday before I've even started the journey!
Terrible experience, they made problems for the bag even if it was the right size, i will never fly with Ryanair again, terrible
