“No Entertainment for Long Haul flight!”

I am usually a huge advocate for Qantas, and after a few flights with them internationally never really had a reason to have negative feedback, however on our flight from Sydney to NYC back in September, I was in a seat that had a broken ear phone jack for the inflight entertainment. After several attempts to 'reset' my screen and a complete reboot of the inflight system for the entire plane (mine wasn't the only one having issues albeit not the same) I spent to entire 14 hours flight with no inflight entertainment. I appreciate the CC trying to fix and extended apologese, but lets be real - a 14 hour flight with no inflight entertainment - not ideal! Qanatas aren't what I would consider to be a budget airline, you never get compensated when these things aren't working inflight. Didn't make for a good start to my trip. Other than that most other aspects of the flight were good.

Decided to use up some air miles and so booked a business class seat on a domestic flight Gold Coast to Perth. First time I had flown domestic business class. The flight was via Sydney so only a short hop from the GC. Flight was fine,we were in the last row of BC and only a curtain divided us from economy and unfortunately a noisy child was sat behind us. Not really much one can do. Plane arrived on time into Sydney and we got off and walked straight on to the next leg to Perth...how good was that. Flight was excellent, comfortable spacious seats, friendly crew and good food what more could one ask for.

Had the worst meal ever on an airline flight. The beef ragout was served in a cardboard box,was unrecognisable sludge and tasteless. Qantas has slipped down market. Alan Joyce should check out the food being served. It's enough to make him sick

I wish I could always fly Buisness Class any long haul I always fly Buisness from this experience onwards.

Not the most exciting trip, there and back to Kalgoorlie in a day. Therefore, being on time is a must. Both outgoing and return flights were spot on.
Service on board is with a smile. You even have chance for a cooked breakfast and coffee. Of course it is not going to be Haute Cuisine but more than adequate to start the day.
