I am usually a huge advocate for Qantas, and after a few flights with them internationally never really had a reason to have negative feedback, however on our flight from Sydney to NYC back in September, I was in a seat that had a broken ear phone jack for the inflight entertainment. After several attempts to 'reset' my screen and a complete reboot of the inflight system for the entire plane (mine wasn't the only one having issues albeit not the same) I spent to entire 14 hours flight with no inflight entertainment. I appreciate the CC trying to fix and extended apologese, but lets be real - a 14 hour flight with no inflight entertainment - not ideal! Qanatas aren't what I would consider to be a budget airline, you never get compensated when these things aren't working inflight. Didn't make for a good start to my trip. Other than that most other aspects of the flight were good.
