Easy flight from start to finish. I had a broken leg and was given every available comfort, gratis. Lovely hot tea every couple of hours, enough leg room, barely, but im tall. Nice folks and very helpful. Will definitely fly with them again.

This is a route taken frequently and whilst the cost may be greater than some Budget airlines, the additional expense is unquestionably worth it. The schedule runs to time, the aeroplanes are immaculately clean, the cabin crew could not be more pleasant and helpful and throughout the whole experience, from check in to disembarkation, there is a real feeling of customer care.

On one occasion when the flight time had to be altered by a day, on account of technical problems, KLM offered the most generous compensation. I cannot recommend this airline too highly.

I remarked about the outgoing flight from LAX to AMS that the Business Class seating was very comfortable but the meals and food choices were horrible. One can only assume that has to do with the food preparation being done in Los Angeles and not from the meticulous hands of the Dutch as the food and choices were outstanding on the return flight as was the service and friendliness of the flight attendants. The chefs in LA need to take a class from the chefs in Amsterdam.
The priority given to checked in luggage was especially appreciated in that I got my bag very quickly after landing and was able to catch an early airbus saving a few hours getting home 3 hours away.
In general, KLM is so much better in every way than say Air France of British Airways. The crew actually seem to enjoy working and greeting and serving passengers albeit while taking good means for safety.
I should also mention the convenience and comfort of the airport lounge in Amsterdam was much appreciated as well. It allowed me to spend 2 hours in a much better environment than in the chaotic gate seating area.

As they keep the middle seat free, it was comfortable for a short-haul flight. Our in flight "meal" was pretty basic and not a good reason to choose business class.

Very comfortable seat but large metal partition made it impossible to speak with my wife in the next seat!

Fair choice of in-flight entertainment and a very good menu which was resented excellently. Only downside is the grumpt attitude of some of the cabin crew.
